"The Peerless Mountain Sessions" is my debut album, a collection of instrumental tunes I've picked up over the last decade of hopping around the country. There's some old-time tunes from Kentucky, West Virginia, and Missouri, some bluegrass tunes, and some Metis tunes from up in Manitoba. My good friends Dan Eubanks (bass) and Brady Wallen (banjo/guitar) joined me for some spirited live takes in the studio, and my first teacher and mentor, Virgil Bowlin, engineered the project and played mandolin on one track.
